Update Log for BBSTEST 01/23/88 1.00H - BUG! Carrier was always being tested on COM2 and not COM1 if you were using it. Fixed. 01/23/88 1.00G - If carrier is present when BBSTEST starts, it tries to drop it for 5 seconds. If unsuccessful, it will simply continue on. This is due to modems which come up with "carrier status" forced ON all the time. 01/16/88 1.00F - After returning from a shell to DOS, the system does not automatically log off if time is expired. This allows you to press F7, enter in commands to upload/download files, press F9 to drop to DOS, bring up your comm program, transmit/receive files, then return to BBSTEST. It will still be active. This can be very handy if you want to call all the BBS's in your area to transmit a message or upload a file manually. 01/14/88 1.00E - Added MODEMDIAL to BBSTEST.SCR so you can set up a default dialing string. Fixed problem with timeout when a manual response was sent. Added NOLOGON command line parameter and toggle (F6) so that you can tell BBSTEST not to try and logon to systems but simply call, see if there is carrier, and then hang up. This is the fastest way to generate a list of BBS phone numbers.
